Friends, I once read on a site that converted the DVX100B two guys to have more resolution. someone has seen or heard of it?

There was an older modification for the DVX called Andromeda that allowed uncompressed video to be captured straight from the camera. It's been out of production for some time, I believe.

It was a modification to the DVX100A, and is no longer available. It pulled signal after the sensor but before DV compression and allowed capture of 4:4:4, 10-bit color video straight from the DVX. This was through a cable port that was added to the camera, and required capture straight to a computer (didn't work with the camera's tape recorder).

What a shame. It was a truly stunning development and something I would have gotten into had it not been buried the way it was.

With the newer HD cams (HVX200,HPX170,HMC150) you can output pre-compression from HDMI or SDI-HD outputs.

Probably why they dropped the SD mod.
