Thats all I needed to hear. I use the nanoFlash and I'm a big fan of CD. I'm convinced compressed 4K is what I want. I've used the Sony raw recorder with the FS700 and its just more workflow complexity than I need.

Just to note, you can shoot tests now of FS700 2K RAW. But without paying for the license there will be a large colored bar across the lower third of the recorded image. Fine for the purposes of testing until you can get your boss to pay!

I made a very very short test comparing 2K RAW sLog2, AVCHD sLog2 and Cinegamma4.
2K RAW is sharper, holds better details and has much more room for variations (of course)
Nevertheless AVCHD performs surprisingly well.
Unfortunatley we didn't see any sun for the last days, so I could not
go for a real DR test. Hopefully my battery plate wlll arrive soon so that
I can shoot outside my yard ;-)

My dealer (Visual Impact) certified me that they were the first to order it in France...
