Convergent Design: Looking Forward & Moving Ahead

As far as the second part of your question dealing with the LUTs, I honestly do not understand what yu are asking. Can you break it down a bit more clearly for me?

Is it possible to bypass the active LUT When using false color?

The LUT increases highlights, so that when using LUT and false color at the same time, it looks like one is clipping the highlights.

Is it possible to have false color only show the raw signal, while LUT is active on the monitor itself?

I've seen the LUT build here at NAB and yes, you can decide whether or not the LUT affects the monitoring functions. It's really nice to be able to view the LUT image, but still view a false color or waveform that is based off of the raw/log image.

What he said. One of the hallmarks of our implementation of 3D-LUTs is the advanced routing control of the image. There's nothing else like it on the market.

We are in the testing phase our our next firmware update. When we have the last kinks ironed out we will release, which should be shortly. I'm wrapping up documentation now. This release will focus primarily on monitoring functions, in particular our new 3D-LUT system.

More word on future firmware updates after this one is launched.
