Convergent delivery country restrictions

Yesterday I placed a small order at B&H for some accessories for my A7Ss, which I simply won't be able to buy/order here in Germany. Great service!

Within that order I wanted to add a Convergent HDMI cable for my Odyssey7Q+ and some protection cases for Odyssey SSDs. Small items, but helpful. These items are not available at the 3 main online dealers, which I know to offer Convergent products in Germany. The items are just not listed, so it was convenient to simply add them to my B&H order.

When finishing checkout at B&H I got this notice:

Due to the manufacturers restriction, we are unable to accept orders
with the provided shipping address for the following item(s).

That's embarrassing. I may understand that for the Odyssey recorders (the expensive and complex hardware), to protect the dealers and offer local support. But prohibiting to send some tiny accessoires to foreign countries is ridiculous. Especially when I won't get them here, or at least not without making some calls, writing some emails and pay additional postage. The same will apply to the screen protection foils when I need them in future. I've found only one version in Germany which is even more aggressively priced than in the US.

Is this the way intended to be or was this my mistake or maybe a B&H error?

Just a thought, but could you order them from the UK or the Netherlands? As long as you are within the EU, it should be fine.

But it would have been convenient to just order it from B&H in the same package and not to search internet where to get, register in foreign shops which I do not know, pay extra postage and so on. Too much effort and costs for little accessories. I'm still annoyed by that.

BTW, without getting into details, sometimes these things have nothing to do with the manufacturer.
