Continuous behind the scenes

Hello, I wonder if anybody knows of a contiuous behind-the-scenes video in Youtube or so, I am referring to where you can follow a production without interruption, preferably in Hollywood or in a big studio. So that you can see and hear discuccions, waiting times etc, and not only short clips of when they shout "Action" or "Cut" etc.

This isn't what you're looking for exactly, but I found it amazing.

This is the entire movie of Karate Kid (one of my fav's) but all rehearsal, shot scene by scene with a crappy handy cam from the director - some scenes are on location others are in weird places.

The big take away is his style is very rehearsed and to me it's because he wants to see not-so-roughly what's in his mind's eye in reality. The movie is essentially exactly the same but with better camera, lenses, lighting and film-stock etc. He knew what he wanted, practiced it, and ultimately nailed it.

Not a big Hollywood production, but I have a two hour BTS of my last feature. The entire thing is vloging and fly on the wall. Covers from the middle of working on the script all the way to the premiere. I can share the link if you're interested.

It should be possible - though I have no idea where - to find some "all tell" BTS book for famous/legendary films.

Otherwise, try to use all your connections, if any, to get on the set.

Or, volunteer your help for a project. On the low-no budget movies, the process is fairly similar and a free helping hand isn't frowned upon. I have no idea how these things might be arranged in Colombia, if that's indeed where you are.

PS. I recall watching some LA/NYC soap opera (telenovelas) BTS. Actors may at ~ 7 AM, do the brief rehearsal/blocking of their scene/s on a set/sets that they are well familiar with. Then they go into wardrobe/makeup, then back onto the set and everything is done (preferably) in one take with 2-3 cameras. That way, a quality soap screw can knock out over a hundred of script pages each day. Of course, the soaps have giant studios and crews of several hundred.

Absolutely no major production would allow such a feed. This is corporate secret stuff, with many millions of dollars at stake.

Yeah, it would be like setting up a livestream of the R&D department inside Apple. It sure would be interesting, but there's no way it'll happen.

The best you can hope to find is the behind-the-scenes special features on some DVDs and Blu-rays. For example, the Prometheus 3D Blu-ray has like 4 hours of BTS footage, very in-depth stuff. But all that footage is scrutinized and vetted by the studio lawyers and actors' agents to make sure none of it paints anyone in a bad light. There's way too much riding on a movie (money, reputations, etc.) to have an uncensored fly-on-the-wall view of an entire film shoot. The potential for lawsuits would be insane. It's never going to happen on a major film production, unfortunately.

I'd love to see the BTS of, "I am not coming out of my trailer" - "Yes, you are, !@#$%^&", exchange.

Probably not exactly what you're after (this being a camera forum my guess is you're interested in set ups, camera, gear, crew, etc.) but Youtube is filled with clips of actors and directors kinda flipping out on set. It's not pretty, but it's a part of how the sausage gets made. I watch these to learn how NOT to direct. heh.

Start by searching for the David O. Russell and Lilly Tomlin fights and let the Yotube suggestion algos take you down the wormhole....
