Ok! My first post of videos here on DvxUser forum! I hope you have the heart to spend two minutes of your important life to simply see a humble factory -workers hobby.

This movie was made in three days where all my spare time was on this project! It was made for the local church who needed an introfilm for an service (correct me if that is the wrong word for when people gather and have a meeting for God?)

I would appreciate if someone could comment with critiques so the next shortfilm has the potential to become better!

Btw next short comes out nov 16.

Yeah I think this movie is representable for being in the portfolio (if I had one :P probably will making one now) It's the Dvx100B Pal version.

I want a PAL haha.
What do you mean you used a direct positive, can you explain the process? thanks :)

Awesome! I'm really digging the color treatment...its got a very lomographic feel to it.

and +1 on the direct positive question...can you explain your process?

I made an S-curve on the red channel and on the green channel. Then the blue channel, The right upper cornerdot I drag down, and the left lower corner up, about halv a square. This was just to get a more yellowish color to the film. And some play with the contrast curve after that.

Do you have the rights for the music? Just curious.

But looks really nice. I really liked the first half of it. Towards the end it wasnt that funny anymore. Just my opinion. Keep up the good work!

I agree that the end wasn't funny and with a little more time on my hands I could have made it different. For your curiosity, I have no rights to the music, but then again I made this film for private use. :)

ahhh yes...hence the lomo effect...nice.

Abalex: Are you sure it stops at busstop? :S
triplej96: I played with the saturation also a little bit to get a better look.

This is how the CC looks like.
