Considering a 60d and 7d for video/film...what's the advantages of the 7D

only big difference is hdmi out while recording. all other advantages worth mentioning lie on the still photo side
 
Don't forget the weather sealing on the 7D! :D

Unless you require HDMI out while recording or plan to do professional still photography, the 60D is a better buy for a motion shooter.

Also, the 7D takes CompactFlash cards, but the 60D takes SD.
