With principle photog done, I excpect some grabs soon ... especially now that I've seen all that blood

I didn't think we could post anything from the movie. Can we?

No actual footage is my understanding, but grabs are fair game I believe ... hold on ... I go check ...

EDIT:

here ya go...

You can showcase storyboards, script segments, final score's or in progress, production still's, audition's, headshot's, behind the scene's video and making of specials, art-work and conceptual design, set dressing, location's and even One Sheet's (the Film's poster) but one thing you cannot do:

NO FOOTAGE FROM ACTUAL FILM CAN BE SHOWN UNTIL THE OFFICIAL FESTIVAL START.
there ya have it, now let's see em

always a good strategy, but one I never have time for :(

In the Walter Murch book, he talks about how its good for directors to get away from the film before editing so your judgement as to what's in the can isn't clouded by what happened on the shooting day ... what you thought looked good then, so you can forget what was shot under tense circumstances or hurried, or what you were in a really good mood for while you shot, etc. and just see what wound up in the can for what it is.

I'm getting pretty psyched to see this one.

Grabs look great and it sounds like you are ahead of the curve on shooting/post and have got a great workflow going:thumbsup:

Yet another still.
Thanks JDS, we really wanted to make the time to be able to step back from our work and look at it objectively, something we usually don't do :)

Dam! I just saw your stills and this thing looks terrific. You got me very interested. Look forward to seeing the final product.

looks great ... but I can't tell there is any CC from the other pics (which could be a good thing - subtle ya know) ... or maybe the previous grabs were CCed also? which would also be good because they matchy match.

again -- lookin' good mi amigo.

def looking forward to it

In the CC'd one I upped the conrtast and the saturation. But Maybe I don't push things far enough. Like, in herofest someone told me that my images looked flat and that I should CC them more. But i'm not sure what to do, I do what I think is tasteful and appropriate and when I watch movies they dont crush the blacks to smitherines and color everything wierd colors very often. Also I worry about the contrast stuff when I'm lighting moreso than in post. So i'm a little stumped, maybe you guys can show me what you'd do. Any help is appreciated.
