Connecting xh-a1 to samsung b2330 monitor

I have a Samsung b2330 23" monitor for my macbook pro and I was wondering if there was a direct way to plug my camera into it and use it as an hd monitor. I guess the solution would be finding a way to plug the component out into the dvi input? is this at all possible?

Component is analog while DVI is digital. It takes a converter and will degrade the signal. Good conveters are expensive.
 
look for a used analog monitor. i have an (ancient) panny CRT/boob tube 32" HDTV which is 1080i that i use to review all footage, via either component or preferably VGA via PC.
 
Thanks for your solutions. Is there a way to convert the component out into the rgb input or convert the hdv FireWire into dvi?
