Confused on SD cards

Okay so I'm a bit of a noob. I have taken two years of film class at my high school and have been out filming with my teacher multiple times and know a thing or two. Cutting to the chase i have a gh2 and would like to hack it. I'm confused on read/write on sd cards. I see an sd card with 90mb/s read and 38mb/s write would that be good for a hack? or do i need to go 90mb/s read/write?

I just posted this comparison in another thread.

The Lexar 600x are $17.95 for 32 GB. The PNY Elite are $20. for 32 GB. Best cots/performance ratio right now. Near the top, but not as expensive as top.

You can't just read the number. You need to look at tests.
