I have to disagree, thats like saying outputting to DVD or VHS or whatever a brick and morter festival takes the films is not part of the process, its a whole package deal.

I would agree that it's part of the "festival process", but not a part of the filmmaking one. But I say this as a filmmaker.

ROFL on the floor like Bugs Bunny after he put Elmer Fudd in a river!

I will be happy to help next fest getting the torrent bandwagon going. I'll setup a kick ass tutorial on the whole concept and send it over to you.

sorry I spelled your name wrong. "two r's..."

In linux you can use bittorrent - it comes with a tracker... I would guess there are Windows etc trackers out there.

Jarred, I emailed you. I uploaded Sunday and I still don't see SIMON SAYS on the list. Is something wrong with it?

I would recommend that you place the .mov file somewhere where Jarred can download them. I think there be something askew with the Horrorfest FTP server. Arrrrgh.

And then immediately send an email to contact@dvxuser.com with the location of the file.

Eggzackly! That's what I had to do in the end. I don't have high speed anything
at home right now and work is keeping a tight lid on communications out
of our building. I was stuck at Kinkos at 4am in the morning transfering to my
own webpage for just the H264. That sucked.... hard.

Jarred was quick with his response when I emailed him the link.

Thanks for the advice guys. Is it still possible to upload onto Edgen's server? ... and if so, what are the details?

EDIT* Sorry, I meant to say: Thanks for the advice "me mateys"!

Yarr!!! I be ready to watch some scary movies as soon as 'Simon Says' it's good to go! Yarr!!!
