Compressor : Is anyone else having issues?

I know a few people that are reporting the same thing: beachball when you try to apply a pre-set to multiple 7D/5D clips.

A glitch cleared mines up, then made me realize I needed to turn the project thumbnail viewer off and it's fine.

Anyone else experience this?
 
I experienced it the other day with about 10GB of footage. Thought it might have just been the size, but getting rid of the preview cleared it up.
 
Boy I hated Compressor. I ditched it in favor of Adobe Media Encoder as soon as I got it. ME is soooo much better.
 
I have to make batches of no more than 20 clips per batch. If I have more than 20 clips in a batch I get crashes as I add presets. So I end up making 4 or more batches, submitting them one after the other, and all is ok. I'll have to try turning off thumbnail viewer and see if that helps me.
 
I find that I can only add about 10 clips at a time to a batch, but that I can have as many as I want at once. My last batch was about 80 clips.
