Compressing 24pn footage for web

I'm a new HVX200 owner and was curious about all of your thoughts on compressing footage shot at 24pn on the hvx for the web, and optimal settings/strategies for best web delivery quality. Right now, my footage is a little jerkier than I'd like, so I've been searching forums, specifically with 24pn. I'm used to compressing with regular DV, just my first venture into compressing 24pn. Any thoughts appreciated!

I'm using the newest FCP and Sorenson Squeeze and compressing to FLV.

Try this:

H264 QT

size: 480 x 270

keyframes: every 48

restrict data rate to 400-550 kbs

Sound: AAC - stereo- 32 KHZ

quality- normal
data rate- 96-128
choose fast start and prep for internet stream

Should result in reasonable file size and good quality - you can always up the data
rate if needed

I have to keep it in FLV. I had been reading about jerkiness with pulldown and this that and the other, ended up getting confused. I may post a clip here as I have time to see if maybe its just be being to 'new' eyed to 24pn on the web and its supposed to look the way it does, or if I've messed up a setting somewhere along the chain.

I've compressed quite a bit of 24PN for web. www.o7films.com>view work look for the condenet clip in the left column. Smooth wxcept for the FCP speed change clip near the end, and all sorts of different frame rates.

The compression was done in Squeeze 4.5, Its a QT sorenson codec.

Thanks, but yes, it looks fine in quicktime, but I need to have it in FLV format. It's some sort of problem with compressing to FLV. I've gone over to the Adobe forums to see if I can get an answer on it from a Flash person over there.

Wow, that looked great! Incredible! (wasn't even bad at the speed change)
