All the up and coming film making wannabes (like me?!) aren't going to be on Mom and Dad's miniDV camcorder anymore.

Nice little video. Seems like the biggest drawbacks so far are just the less full button/dial layout but more importantly the limited ISO settings. Other than that just the build quality and stills FPS.

Um...Paul...as I mentioned to you in another thread the 7D's output resolution is somewhere between 720p and 1080p. But it is bigger than 720p which makes it more than HD. I'd say it's about 20% smaller(if that) than 1080. I sometimes use my laptop to focus and record with...and it looks pretty sharp. No changes when I hit record.

I strongly suspect that Paul doesn't own, nor has he worked very much with, a 7D. I wonder why he's so angry or up-in-arms about this issue.
 
Paul...I've seen from DVInfo that you had the 7D briefly and sent it back because you were dissapointed with it's 60p and said you prefer your 5Dll over it. But when you had it briefly did you try out its HDMI output?
