Comparing the new Metabones 'Speed Booster' adapter with 'The Original'

I checked the FS100 manual from top to bottom, but I couldn't find "photo mode" anywhere.
Whatever "photo mode" is, my camera doesn't appear to have it.

The Sony NEX FS100 is a 'cinema' camera, not a 'photo' camera. So NO autofocus.
 
I see. So "photo mode" is a selectable function of a "point and shoot" camera, but not the FS100. No wonder I couldn't find it.

You already explained that the Canon Lens through a Metabones Speed Booster adapter on an FS100U Camera body enables Aperature and Image Stabilization control only. I have no particular use for automatic aperture control or image stabilization, and I already have a Nikon mount lens for my FS100:

At this point, I'm wondering if I'll be better off with the Nikon G to E mount Speed Booster:

I dunno.

Think it'll work with my Tokina?
 
According to the website the Nikon to E-mount Speed Booster has only manual operation. You will be able to adjust the aperture of the Nikon-version Tokina lens manually.

I sort of figured that. My question now has more to do with the mechanical interface. Will the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon fit on the Metabones Nikon G to E mount Speed Booster? I've pretty much given up on any "Automatic" functions at this point.

I got a little confused there for a while with all the lens descriptions:

Vistek calls it a Nikon APS-C mount

Metabones calls it a Nikon G to E mount.

About the only clue they gave that matches what I have is the part where they said:

"Compatible with both Nikkor G lens & F lens"

Since B&H calls it a Nikon F mount, I figured I found a match.

But why leave it to chance when I can ask a few experts, right?

Incidently, has anyone tried using the Nikon G to E mount Speed Booster?
 
Sorry, I didn't realize it was an f-mount (that's cool), but yes it will still work. APS-C refers to size of sensor that it will cover. It will cover the FS100 sensor, but not, let's say, the Canon 5dii sensor.
 
The Tokina 11-16 is a APS-C size lens - the speedbooster needs 35mm lenses to work.
So it won't work even if it would fit physically...

Only "full-frame" lenses will work on the speedbooster!
 
my Tokina 11-16 canon mount run very well with speed booster and nex-fs100, from 13.5mm to 16mm (Under is too vignetting) don't forget to remove lens Hood...
