So cine to you means less contrast? Maybe back in the 70's.

Leave the blacks alone, push the whites down, like our culture.

it looks like you are underexposing all the images. does colorista have any built in scopes? you should watch how much you bring it down, unless it's the intended look. It looks like all the shots you graded are closer to at the end of day, closer to night time, and are a lot flatter. again i don't know if it was intentional, are you viewing this on a accurate reference monitor?

Red One shoots RAW, which absolutely MUST be color corrected in post. The RAW footage out of Red is never intended to be shown or emulated. The colorists push that footage back to look more like your original footage. I'm afraid you went the wrong way.

Shoot 1080/24p for the cinematic look it appears you're going for. It gives a more filmy/organic look, IMHO. 720/60p looks like home video...reality TV...or a football game on TV...i.e. 60i on steroids. For the bike racing stuff in your shots, I like the original 720p...that's what it's for...unless you're making a movie. Good luck!

i think you've got it all backwards.
normally you'd capture an image like that on the right, then adjust it to look like the left. i can't see any reason why you'd take a perfectly good image and make it look like something raw and unfinished!??

I don't mind it. Think it's a matter of taste. It doesn't look as washed out as it looks tamed. I wouldn't do it the other way round, cause you're subduing all your neutrals, enough to make me appreciate that yellow band behind the biker for example... I'd selectively just bring one color out a teensy bit more, in this case, just push that yellow up individually.

The originals look run of the mill to me. The tamed ones look classy, and a tad bit sharper even, and I know that's what the flattening is doing, unless you applied some sharpening very, very subtly.

It's a matter of taste, just as long as your decisions are deliberate and justified to your goal.

I personally do like what you've put the originals through. If it's the 70's, then I like the seventies I guess.
