Color Correction

it's either now or never.... lol i couldn't do it until march anyway..... I just started working out again so I'll be good to go by then. ; )

hey seriously man, chill with that beating up stuff lil homie. I was there and it landed me two years in a 6x9 all because of some stupid ish. simply not worth it as I'm sure your hand is telling you now.

..I think Coffee is scaredd...muwahahhaha

lol

yeh i kno...but i dont really get into fights that often...maybe like once a year...but thats bout it..nothin major...except this time..lol

I used After Effectswith the plugs i had for it.

I didnt bother with Vegas.

I tried to use that 6 vector CC thing...i didnt like it so i got rid of it......that was madd long ago too.

I like the original. The cc pics have too much saturation and grain. It really looks like straight video now. Try color correcting without the plugins. Just use adjustment layers and add the levels and gamma controls to those layers. You'll get a much better effect.

Are u trying to get an effect like "Millions" directed by Danny Boyle? Perfect example of bleached out images in some scenes.

..i need to take a course or jus watch more movies to get ideas for CC..im here in Canada till sunday...and i cant do much..and my moms cousin has like THE hooked up freakin editing studio...but i have no AE!

Woah..this thread is still around? I thought it got deleted along with all the other stupid threads ive made. lol

Your talkin about the pic with the greenish tint?

..to be honest i dont really remember well..it was made in January.

From wat I do remember...I used Digital Film Lab....and screwed around with the RGB curves....brought down the red a lot...hightened the greens and blues to like an S shape...then put more saturation to make the colors stand out better....oh yeah..i also applied an ND filter effect.

But...from what i remember..thats basically it...all in AE. Depending on your image with the lighting and stuff you'll have to screw around with the shape of the green and blue curves. For this particular image i made it like an S to make it dark.

But there are probably different ways you can do it without an ND filter effect or Digital Film Lab..and jus do it in the RGB Curves.

hope that helps..
