C100: Cold Shoe Lock? Can't remove accessory!

Quick question - I had an LED light put on my camera last night (my camera did not have the audio handle attached).
The LED light will NOT come off the C100 body now.

I turned the dial to 'unlock' the tension, and try to slide the light out, but it doesn't come out.
I believe the bottom of the LED light looks like this:

My guess is those little pins are in the hole the audio handle scews into or something, stopping it from coming out...??
Thoughts?!?

This is the peice that is stuck actually

Turns out it was the pins.
I used vice grips to crack that adaptor in half (I found some pictures of what it looked like inside).
Once it was in half, I unscrewed the screws that held the pin plate, and the whole thing slid out no problem.

Note to self - Never attach anything with tiny pins to the shoe on top of the camera body! Likely going to get the top plate adaptor now (in another thread)

Hoping this cold shoe gets nixed from next gen hardware. Really has no place being on a dedicated cinema camera.
