Hello,
I'm kind of new to this comunity, But so far love the forums here on dvxuser.
I used to work with Sony camcorders with HDV, my way of doing somewhat taples was thru a firestore conected via firewire (recording to tape also). I had some entry level firestores that would only do HD on a M2T (not the .mov on the pro unit)
Then i found this great program called ClipWrap, instead of transcoding the M2T it would just create a wrapper/container for the file. The time it took was almost as fast as just making a copy of the file
here's a link to the clipwrap site
https://www.clipwrap.com/index.php
My question or coment on this is, Is there something similar for AVCHD (most likely not) would it be possible to create such a program?... I'm not a video eng but i think it might be possible!. I'm on the MAC side btw!
:dankk2:for any info or coment!
