clicking

waz up... first post. I got a dvx100 and when i shut it off there is a weird clicking like something is loose. its broken isnt it. this camera is a piece of crap. awhat awhat. thanks all u dvxlosers!!!

Umm Yeah. Search the board for clicking and you'll be amazed at what you find. you know what forget about searching i'll make it easy for you because if you were prone to searching you wouldn't have posted first.

RATS...!!!

I've become quite fond of the "Whats that Click" newbie bashing myself...
I may have even partaken once... or twice... at least I wanted to.

This brings up an interesting as well as on topic story.

At the time and point of purschase of my DVX, the salesman opened the box and proceded to show and explain the basic functions of the camera.
The very first thing out of his mouth was "Don't be concerned about this clicking sound". He showed how and what made the click, and how it went away when you turned it on. I guess that it helps to know the people you buy from... this dealer is in my hometown, and it shows.

I hope this doesn't play any part in stopping the newbie fun. It most likley wont, they never use the search function anyway....
