Clearscan Shutter Setting

Is this setting used for when one wants to have a computer screen show up in footage without the flicker? If so, it doesn't work for me. I made a test and the flicker was there pretty badly using the setting. It didn't away until I brought the shutter down to 1/8th.
 
Sure you are using it properly?

Turn your shutterspeed up till you reach "CS".
Then open Menu > Camera Setup > Clear Scan and adjust the frequency to the screen you are shooting.
 
Yeah, if you're setting the 1/8th shutter, that means you're not using the clearscan function at all. Do as rslv says and change the shutterspeed to CS, that should make a world of difference.
