Cleaning the body after shooting at beach

I did some shooting at the beach for about 4 hours. Just curious if and how I should clean the DVX. Should I just wipe the outside of it down with a clean cotton cloth? Or is there another method to ensure I removed most of the salt and sand? Thanks.
 
any thing else? Will a wipe down with a dry cloth be good enough?
