"Cleaning" P2 card after import.

We are heading away on a few day shoot on Friday, and have not been able to get our hands on any more P2 cards. This means that i am going to be stuck manning the laptop to get the data off the P2 cards, and back into the camera as soon as possible.

I have got a 17" Powerbook with plenty of space ready for dumping P2 data onto, but is there a quick and easy way to clean the card before handing it back to the DOP? I am trying to avoid having to reformat the card in the camera before it can be used again.

Is P2 genie the only option here?

Cheers

I would ask yourself what you are looking to do, that the P2 genie won't allow you to do?

It's the best solution, for the least money that I know of.

If you bought it, you would use it.
