Cleaning Fungus on a 58mm Rokkor f1.2

Someone has sent me some images of a Minolta Rokkor 58mm f1.2 stating there is a small fungus on it. They are attached to this post (the pictures not the fungus

).
How easy would it be to clean this? If it turns out to be between the last two pieces of glass in the rear element, would that be a headache to take apart and then realign? What is the recommended mixture of cleaning fluids for doing this?

Cheers,

I would be very leary of accepting any lens with fungus in it. It usually need professional attention, and can (Often will) result in loss of any coating on that element.

Agreed. There are a lot of clean lenses out there. Find one of them.

If you are already in possession of the lens and are looking for someone to take it apart there is a shop in NJ that services nationwide. The name is Essex Camera in Carlstadt, NJ and they are a well known repair facility. A friend who submerged a Nikon zoom lens a few years back had it completely taken apart and cleaned and they were very reasonable.
