Cleaning dust in the viewfinder

Hey guys!

There are two specs of dust in my viewfinder, beneath the glass. Is there a way to safely open the viewfinder to clean everything inside?

Oh, is there already a good dust cover available for the XHA1, which fits real nice? I'm really going to need one for my trip to Siberia/Mongolia.

If you lift up your viewfinder you will find that there is a removable flap where you can carefully clean the lens I would try using a cotton bud.

I noticed that flap, but was afraid that I wouldn't be able to put it back again.
