Clarification on Reservations

I just saw the post by Jannard stating all reservations will be closing Oct. 31st.

What does this mean exactly? If I go past the 31st I never get a chance to get a RED or I have to wait months/years for a new batch of 500 people to become interested in order to make production feasible for red?

What does this mean for the guy like me who wants to wait a bit is really the point. (What are reservation schedules...people have mentioned price going up, though I wouldnt see that as feasible...etc)

Also, if someone reserves a Red do they have to pony up the money right away when they are ready to ship, or can you hold it indefinitley. (Im asking due to lack of clarity as to what happens once orders (reservations) are shut down.

Hey cool camera by the way. (forget Prauge, move to Budapest, we need more cool stuff here. :)

Peace all

It probably means there's no longer a need for reservations because they'll be gearing up for mass production and wide availability. If the reservations were only a means to gauge interest they now know interest isn't a problem.
