Hi guys;
Not sure if any of you can help me but I have a Citidisk DV (80Gb model) that has been updated with the FW1256HD firmware instead of the FW1256C50 which I believe is the correct firmware for that model.
Since this bad update, the unit will no longer sync to the camera (Canon XM-2) and will no longer record, even though the Shining Utility software will still access the unit and allow the drive to be set up as usual.
Is there any way to reset the unit to the original firmware, as it will no longer allow me to upload to it. Keeps on saying something like "failed to switch device to upload mode"
Is there a fix for this (such as some way to do a master reset or something) or is the unit useless now ?
