CION still in the running vs FS7

I can confirm that we are working with AJA to support the CION on the Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+. AJA RAW is similar to CinemaDNG, just like ARRIRAW, Vidsion Research's Phantom RAW files, and a host of other RAW data formats. But there are some differences.

As for the reel looking fine some places and terrible other places, again this is why I HATE sample footage on the internet.

ProRes 4444 is awesome, looks great straight from the camera, yet has tons of latitude for grading. I can't see why I would go raw.

It's nice to hear this sort of feedback, because I'm looking to arrange a demo myself through Keycode Media in Seattle... I'm debating between a Cion and an Ursa Mini as a way to get to 4K from my current Black Magic (BMCC MFT and Pocket) cinema cameras. The NAB reel looks great, and the camera handles really nicely.

Can't imagine the CION competing against the FS7...the FS7 is the clear winner. CION is a bit outdated and expensive for today's market.

Heres bed a snippet of some low-light footage I shot with the CION. Reminds me a bit of the RedOne.
