I bought this about 1 year ago for my DIY 35mm Adapter. It's in good shape and it's a great piece of glass: did it's job perfectly. Hopefully I can now pass this on to someone who needs it as much as I did when I got it.

$150+ paypal + shipping <<<-- PRICE REDUCED

After this it goes to Ebay

SOLD!!

From the Cincevate website:
The Cinevate 72mm HD achromat is housed in a robust 72mm anodized ring. It is designed specifically for cameras like the DVX, HVX, HD100 and Sony HD cams. The optics are fully coated, front and rear. Achromats differ from "cheap" macros in that they are made of two types of glass, bonded together. Spherical and chromatic aberration levels are thus reduced far below levels found in low cost singlet macros. Our testing shows a ~ 100 line increase in resolution over a popular 10+ macro. These achromats are outstanding quality, with flawless quality control, and a professional finish. For 72mm cams like the DVX, no step rings are required. If you have an HD100 or HVX, order the 82-72 step down ring as well.

It was purchased, placed onto my DIY adapter and then never taken off. No way to figure out "hours used". It's not like a recording head where hours of use reduces quality. It's an extremely good piece of glass.

The only reason I'm selling it is to help buy myself a Follow Focus system.

If I am not mistaken, doesnt it have set screws to attach it to the brevis, how did you attach it to your adapter?

This is the screw on adapter. It has a 72mm thread on the front and the back. Screws right on to the thread of the DVX. needs a step down ring to fit onto the HVX.

its a very lonely piece of glass and would like to have a good home... no marks on the glass, nice and clean and cheaper than buying it new. In fact it's just liek buying it new, but cheaper shipping.... any takers?

remember:all proceeds go to a good cause: me buying my follow focus...

if i had the money right now i'd be very interested. maybe if it's still available when i get some money together...
