Cinegamma Software

Thanks Joshua. In your experience, what is the best settings of the DVX100B when shooting a wedding and using the 24p? whats the best for the detail level, v detail and the detail coring? Im using its 24p capability and sweeze the video. :2vrolijk_08:

Choice of GAMMA is really personal preference. GAMMA and MATRIX together are sort of like picking a film stock when shooting film, they give you different contrast and color response. Regular CINELINE, to me, is always the nicest looking straight out of the camera.

There is no "best" setting overall. If there was, why wouldn't they just set it at that "best" setting and leave it there all the time? There's 15 levels of those settings for a reason, and you have to understand how those functions work in order to know when to employ each setting.

Yeah I do enjoy just going and playing with the setting when I have time. Lots of stuff you can do in camera. If I remember correctly Barry's book does a good job of explaining what the different settings actually do.
