Cineform Neoscene creating green line at bottom of footage

If you look at the bottom of the picture, you can notice this green line that takes up the bottom row of pixels. The second picture gives you a closer look. This green line is not on the original footage and only appears after doing pulldown removal with Neoscene. I'm using version 5.2.2 and I'm on a PC. Is there any way to fix this?

Yeah, I have had the same problem in the past. I usually get it at the top though. But I usually crop my footage so that takes care of it for me.

I just converted some footage that had that problem. It was only on one of the five cameras. Try an earlier version of neoscene. Let me know if there is a solution.

I'm getting this on the bottom of my footage as of late. Some of my earlier converted footage did not have this. I just updated to their latest 5.2.2 and it's doing the same thing. I had 5.2 which produced the same results. Whatever prior version before 5.2 did NOT create this mysterious green line.

Cineform people- any suggestions???

I find Cineform to be extremely easy and fast to use. I can't see myself using anything else especially after upgrading to the full product.

My neo4k did this to my ex1 footage a week or so ago, oddly only to a couple clips out of a lot. Updated to the very latest release and the problem seems to be gone!

The latest as of now should be v5.22 build 283

Yea I'm sure they could fix it. Seeing as I'm not the only one on here experiencing this, it could be a bug. It happened to some footage I converted with both 5.2 and 5.22 versions. I'll send them an email and hopefully have an answer sometime next week- I think they are off on weekends.

Found the issue. This was caused by our new 4:2:0 to 4:2:2 upconversion filter (see my blog more related details http://cineform.blogspot.com/2010/11/why-use-intermediate-for-dslr-video.html), but the failure only occurs on interlaced sources and those undergoing pulldown removal. I will be fixed officially in the next release, but in the meantime here is the patch.

1) Close NeoScene or HDLink
2) Download this patch http://cineform.com/downloads/CFVideoChange101122.zip
3) Unzip and replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\CineForm\CFVideoChange.ax
4) restart NeoScene or HDLink, a reconvert.

I just downloaded the latest build today, and I still have the green line at the bottom--should I use the patch?
Does it affect the rest of the picture? I can crop it out I suppose.
