I always used Neo Scene ver. 1 to convert the AVCHD files from my Canon Vixia which made it possible to play and edit. I'm on a PC using CS-4. I recently purchased a 60D and have been testing out the video features. I noticed it creates a"Mov" file which I was able to play and edit straight out of the camera. The trouble was the video looked dull and washed out. I did some research and some said to use Neo Scene. I did and the footage looks much, much better. Version 1 of Neo Scene is dropping some of the video and all of the audio however. Is anyone using Neo Scene Ver 5 and does it address this issue with 60D mov files? I've also asked Cineform and waiting for a reply.
EDIT: After doing some more testing I believe the "dull and washed out" look is just a result of playing Quicktime files on my PC. With a little adjustment the files look fine.
