cinebags cb20 backpack

LuckyStudio 13

The Tapeless One
Does this backpack have the straps to go around your waist or hips ? I am looking to get it for the HVX.

Also, do you guys know where I can buy those velcro dividers ? Hope to get a few so i can convert the pack to carry my SLR camera and lenses as well.

The site says that this pack is also made out of waterproof material ??

Yes, it does have waist straps:

I really like this bag, too. I've been on a quest to find the perfect bag, and have gone thru many. This could be the one.

BTW, it is almost identical to the Burton 29L ZoomPack. I own this pack and like it, but it's it's just quite big enough for a DVX100. Overall design is outstanding though.

Happy hunting,

Check out the Ty Video 2 bag. It's $150 and can fit 2 cameras, a SLR, and a laptop.

The TY Video 2 looks great. It's definitly worth the price too.

But, anything carrying 2 cams and a laptop is gonna have some weight issues. The "Cinebags 20" looks like a good fit for someone carrying only one camera.

call me shallow, but i just cant see myself walking into a shoot with a bag that says "skate fairy" all over the inside

Anyone know if the cb20 is carry-on legal size? I'm probably going to just take my peli 1510, but I'm looking into a soft case like this.

The Ty Video 1 bag is basically the same, but without the skatefairy and a wee bit smaller.

I just ordered the Ty Video 2 bag and I finally feel like having found the right backpack for my needs.. I don't give a *peep* if it says skate fairy on the inside... the outside would be BAD thought... haha ;-)

Give us a review when you get it. I probably won't order mine till next week. And ya, it's only the inside. I'm surprised there isn't any other kind of bag like this out there. (that i've seen)

Oh well I can tell you that OGIO is a great company. The quality is top-notch! I got their 9800 Moto-X trolly and LOVE it (I moved to Ireland with it and it has been to Cupertino a few days ago and it is still as good a new!).

So I will give you a review as soon as I get it (eventhough it might take a week to be shipped to Cork, Ireland)

I wonder if you work for Flextronics?

I am close to buying this backpack but still debating on the Kata 207.

I was debating on the Kata 207 as well but I think the Ogio is just the better catch! Not that expensive, better looking (in my opinion) and it has enough space for 2 cameras (in my case a HVX200 & VX2000) plus my EOS30D

....no I am not working for Flextronics ;) It's Apple directly...hehe

I was gonna get the Kata 207. Then I got reminded of the Ty Video 2. The Ty 2 is $100 cheaper, and I love the setup of it, like how the camera(s) can placed, pockets, and especially where the laptop slot is. I haven't seen it too closely in person, but I have seen someone wearing it.

I like the price point for sure on the ty2 and it is better looking than the Kata. I wonder if it has the protection for inclement weather the Kata does as well as the thickness of the padding. Doesn't seem like you can go wrong with either though.

BTW Mark, Cork is a great town, I used to go there on busines on occasion for flex.

Ah I see, well yes Cork is a nice spot, but I prefer the irish country-side much more!
Anyways, I am leaving Ireland in about 3 1/2 weeks to go back to Germany :)

(funny thing: you are the 2nd person that talks with me about Cork, linked to the Ty2; when I ordered it the sales person emailed me back, telling me he lived in Cork for 2 years hehe)

Marc,

Please post a link to the place where you ordered your Ogio Ty from.

Thanks!

I got mine from HERE.
$145 shipped.

BTW, i love this bag! I love how you can have 2 whole camera setups in it or one setup with a ton of accesories.
Here's another pic of the bag.
