Also, I just received my 9.5-57mm zoom today and it is looking like my original plan is not likely to work. The lens extends a full 26mm back from the front of its Arri-B (bayonet) mount and while Arri-B or PL mounts have a nice long 52mm FFD and would work fine on a direct m4/3->ARRI-B adapter since the 20mm FFD of M4/3 leaves 32mm of extra space for ARRI mounted lenses, it isnt likely to work on a EF->PL adapter with an EF teleconverter behind it. EF FFD is 44mm and ARRI B or PL are 52mm meaning there will only be 8mm of space between an ARRI and EF mount in any adapter, so unless the extender has 18mm of space between its elements and its front EF mount, my lens will hit it. Anyone know where I can get a 1.4x ARRI-B or PL extender? or if anyone is going to be making an m4/3 1.4x extender? Looks like these might be my only option, unless anyone knows of another intermediate mount that has a relatively short FFD and has readily available 1.4x or 1.5x extenders available on the market and can be adapted to an ARRI mount... Seems like adapters are available to ARRI from m4/3, Canon EF, and Sony E-Mount, with EF being the only one with extenders available but also being the only one of the three without a short enough FFD to fit my lens.
