ciecio7 adaptor only fits on 'Canon' fd lenses not Sigma fd, Hanimex fd.....

As the title says, am having problems getting my ciecio7 fd to m43 apaptor to work with any fd lenses other than Canon fd. I have tried it on Sigma fd 24mm 2.8, & a Hanimex fd 135mm 2.8 but they dont seem to lock in properly - am a bit too nervous of forcing it - am i doing something wrong or is this a known issue?
Every Canon fd lens I've tried (50mm 1.4, 28mm 2.8) seems to fit fine

Wondered if anyone had the same experience, can't seem to find any info via google or this site

ignore me - just discovered if you leave the adaptor on the camera, then all the lenses fit on - couldnt get the sigma or hanimex to play fair when in hand.....
