Well, after having my T2i for a few weeks, I came along a few problems... Thought it would be best to consolidate all my questions into one thread instead of whoring up the forum.
The first problem isn't exactly on the camera body but the lens. Recently, I bought a used Canon 50mm 1.4 lens. Other than the image looking soft, everything else seemed to be fine. However, a few nights ago, I need some still shots of the moon using the 50mm and the image appears to be showing some chromatic aberration(or atleast that's what I think it looks like).
A test shot on the 50mm 1.4.
(if you look close around the edges of the moon you can kinda see some red looking glows)
Comparison shot with the 17-55mm kit
Seems fine, more detailed and sharper.
____________
Another problem I was seeing are hot pixels.. From my understanding, hot pixels are normal for cameras after some time.. But my t2i is barely a few weeks old? Is there a way to remove hot pixels? And is this enough to be a problem?

If you look closely, you can spot the hot pixel next to his right ear.
____________
A question that has nothing to do with the camera...I ordered a manfrotto 190xpop tripod and noticed that the bubble level was not exactly balanced when the legs were extended out... This is my first tripod, so i'm not sure if this is normal or not. I can understand if the tripod was on an uneven surface of coarse but almost any flat surface I put the tripod on, the bubble is not leveled exactly in the center. So is this a problem or something that's normal for tripods to not be EXACTLY balanced when the legs extend out?
Much thanks and appreciation in advance.
