My *first* music video as Director/Cameraman for an electronic musician friend of mine to launch his new album (http://music.misternorman.com)
Captured along the Oregon coastal areas last month with a quick schedule, I tried to push myself a bit out of my comfort zone and ended up having a great time making it. Hope you guys enjoy.
P.s. I uploaded a prores to vimeo and enabled it to be downloaded (~4GB) if you feel inclined.

Technical:
Shot on F35 and Phantom Miro (LC320s)
Lenses were PL rehoused sigma 18-35mm 1.8 (GL optics) and old red 50-150mm T3 zoom- (didn't have budget for "luxury" lenses for this one)
Cut in RESOLVE 11!!! (unfortunately by me) and used Impulz LUTS to start Grades.

Anyway, the video:

Wow hunter! Looks fantastic. Who needs 4k??? Second shot after slomo shot is the best. Blue shot. Is this GL optics? Shots editing everything is great. Congrats hunter. Maybe best F35 video here.

you destroyed it man - so so so good
what was your color workflow - impulz luts. so proud of you. More proof of how organic that f35 is - and making the miro look that good - damn man

Lovely images Hunter! My fave is the reflections on the shore scenes...reminds me of kodak!

Did you use a different shutter for the beach scenes? It looked slightly different from the rest of the video!

Beautiful work all round, I really enjoy the song, and the visuals compliment it perfectly. Great work Hunter.

I'm generally terrified to stray from 180degrees... usually it makes me think video, but that beach stuff looks amazing!

If anything I would have thought the strobe room stuff was at an odd shutter?

Thoroughly impressed again :)

Hunter, I really loved the color choices - as the blue tones and hues fit perfectly with the song mood and lyrics. So so good.

Wonderful work Hunter, like everyone says the song and visuals complement each other perfectly, and as Ed mentioned great work getting the Phantom to match! I hope you keep your F35 forever, I want to see more & more :-)

Thanks so much guys! The more I shoot with the f35 and figure out its quirks and nuances, the more I love the image it makes. Don't think ill ever sell it.

Yes video is awesome. Hunter is very talented and selling F35 is crazy idea. Hunter + F35 = perfect match. Marry her hunter. :)

Thanks man I would but I don't want to live in Utah!

BTW I woke up to an unexpected surprise this morning, the video got a Staff Pick! : )
