Checkin' White Balance

Does anyone know if there is a way to check what the camera's "Auto White Balance" color temperature is reading?

Thanks in advance!!
 
I don't trust AWB. Ever.

Fill the frame with a white card in the same light as your subject, take a photo and do a MANUAL WB.
