they are famous for their tradition large cases but their new line is called the stormcase and it is like a pelican but i have both pelicans and hardigs and i would definitely say they improved upon the pelican, the latches are better and there are just a lot of little things that they have made small changes to.

That's a nice looking case. Does it come with the foam already cut out like that?
Hey Scheevie,
I am about to get the cavision 4x4 as well. Is yours the hard or the bellows version? and more importantly do you get vignetting at full wide? Jarred Land did a review that showed alot of vignetting with
the bellows which really turned me off it.
here's a link to mine...very professional looking and expensive -- but hey you gotta look like a bad ass professional if you wanna get jobs and good referrals

those cases are great for shipping, but i fail to see their practicality when it comes to day-to-day usage. i like to keep things ready to go: http://www.zippyimages.com/116465.html
i like soft cases, i have almost half a dozen of the hardig hard cases and they are great for airline flights or if you need to take everything you own that is related to doing a shoot, but for regular daily stuff i use my porta brace bag.
i need to get the new dv organizer that the just came out with because even before the chrosziel matte box my main bag dv-cr4 i think its called, was way too full.
i need one big enough to hold my matte box without having to take it off.
i don't mind breaking down the camera (taking off mic and matte box) at the end of the day, but if i'm going from one location to another, or if i'm using it again the next day, or might want to grab it out of the car and just start shooting i have GOT to get something where i can just reach into the bag.
for the panasonic mic, if you want a good wind blocker best bet is to call b&h or evs and tell them what mic you have and see what they suggest and then look at the pictures online.
