Cheapest moire-free DSLR?

What's the cheapest, kind of-aliasing free DLSR? How's the newest Nikon models? Haven't been following that...

A used GH1 is the only thing I can think of.

News flash... all digital systems have aliasing. (Analog systems have aliasing as well... but for the moment we are discussing digital...).

What 'aliasing' is is the folding of high spatial frequencies into the band of 'desired' spatial frequencies.

The optical low pass filter used in DSLR's is designed for the 4K still image, when one shoots at 2K (or nearly so) higher frequencies will be folded into the 2K image.

I believe this is why some people like the 'soft' lenses... because the 'soft' lens is performing the low pass filter.

Since I don't worry about this sort of thing too much, and don't shoot people in houndstooth clothing... I don't have any handy post processing filter plugins that would minimize these artifacts, but I'm sure they are out there.

With that in mind, there are many 'cheap' cameras that can produce images that have reduced artifacts with post processing. A simple technique would be to add 'noise' to the image, call it a 'grain' filter, and that may mitigate some observable artifacts.

While the above may be true, the best DSLR/mirrorless cams at keeping it to a minimum (esp the rainbow moire) without processing are the GH2, G6, and the Nikon D5200/D7100. Good news is these are all lower priced DSLR/mirrorless cameras as well.
