Cheap wide angle lens?

[ciencin]

Is there are a wide angle lens for the dvx that are below €300? (preferably the wider the better)

The only ones I could find are the 0.3X century/opteka and the 16X9 on b&h, but is there any other ones that are relatively cheap?

I saw a tut for moding a raynox xl-3000 ($120) for a dvx, are there are other lenses that can be moded to suit?

Thanks in advance

About $407USD

I'd go with the Century 0.6x for $354 (€260), which works with the DVX's bayonet mount. There's also a Cavision 0.4x for 72mm thread, runs $399, or roughly right at your budget limit.

Glass is one of those "get what you pay for" things... cheap glass is going to cause you headaches.

if that's your budget, I have a 16x9 0.7x wideangle lens I can sell it to you in that price range!

Sorry I'm looking for more wider angle, somewhere from 0.3x to 0.5x

P.S. Does the image actually apear like those images (a full circle) on that 2.5x lens with the dvx?
