I'm looking for a cheap monitor for the t3i. Something that I could hook up quickly to see if I have my shots in focus. It will only be used for blocking and focus.

Bought the Lilliput 619ah from another user here, works well so far with both my T2i and HV40.

Thanks - do you mount it onto the camera or have it mounted on the base plate? I saw two different setup on that webpage. Also what is the battery life? Thanks

You can use an articulating arm or a ball mount and mount it to the hotshoe on the camera. You could also mount it to into the slot for the spare tie-down screw, if you are using a Manfrotto Quick Release System.

Mine is mounted to my Gini rig with articulating arm of the rig.
