GH4 Cheap Audio for the GH3/4

I have always recorded to my zoom h1 or zoom h4n depending on which mic was needed, but just tested out the $20 Audio Technica atr-3350 lav microphone plugging it straight in to the GH4 and was shocked how great the audio was.

nothing edited. Plugged the $20 mic straight into the camera. it has a long cord that went to the lav so i could be 8 feet from the camera. Dropped straight into the editor and i made the audio stereo instead of mono. This will be my new set up for 1 person interviews instead of my ntg-1 or more expensive lavs going into my zoom h1.
 
I ordered one of these after seeing this post. Just wondering what audio/mic settings you used on the GH4 - I've never used anything other than the camera mic.
 
i just plugged it in and the levels were spot on. You can turn the volume up or down in the GH4 menu by looking at the audio meters
