Hi all,

Is there an updated list of CFast cards that work and don’t work with the c300mk2??

- prograde? Heard great things about this card
- Delkin?
- Komputer Bay?
- UK people Cine gear branded ones.
- Egodisk
- Sony CFast
- transcend

I have been using Sandisk mainly and some lexar. It would be nice maybe to get an approved updated list?

Thanks

Canon USA told me that they will never update the list for their cameras other than the original recommendations for Sandisk and Lexar so any of us using cards other than those two brands are on our own.

As far as what to use, if it has VPG-130 on it, you are good to go. I've been using the 256GB EgoDisk cards for a year and half now, shot my entire documentary on them with the C200 and the C300 MKII, they've behaved flawlessly.
ProGrades I would suspect would work well, I've been using them on the Fujifilm X-T3 shooting H265 4K 60p with no issues but haven't tried their CFast as I am already bought into the EgoDisks.

As usual, the smart thing to do is to buy one card and test, test, test with it. Chances are if you can shoot a few hours of the highest data rate setting with your C300 MKII and it performs well, you are good to buy more. That's what I did
with the EgoDisks a year and a half ago. The prices have finally came down on CFast cards now that they are technically outdated.
