7D CF cards for video

[jordy2324]

Time to replace the ol CF cards!

I bought a few 8GB SanDisk Ultra CF cards that were 30MB/S a few years back. Sadly, I lost a few of them and now I need to replace them. These worked alright... but I'm sure they're outdated by now.

I bought a 32GB Transcend 400x card, but it was complete junk (maybe just my copy). I'll have to send it back.

So what cards have treated you best and are a decent value?

I know this comes up a lot, but technology moves fast and last month's recommendations may be yesterday's tomatoes by now.

I know they are on the pricey side...but I have had ZERO problems with these and i've had them for a good while now ,( i have 2). I will buy another soon enough. I cant risk my clients footage so i'll spend on the important stuff.

*these*

...have treated me well. I agree that after all the gear I've bought, I definitely won't cheap out on the memory card.

Anyone know how those 2 stack against each other? Anyone ever use em both?

Or any other recommendations?

I'm thinking I might go with these SanDisks

Anyone use em?

I haven't... but why'd you want to cheap out on the most important aspect of filmaking....the safety of the actual footage. I'm not saying expensive automatically equals to quality...but the 2 posted above are certainly quality. No harm in you asking anywayz.
