CF card speed?

Is 30MB/s enough, or do I need to go to 60?

According to the manual it writes video at about 5.5MB/s but my old 15MB/s card couldn't handle the video for more than 3 seconds without maxing out the buffer.
 
In that case, does anybody know the difference between the Sandisk SDCFX3-032G-A31 and the SDCFX3-032G-P31? Both 32GB at 30MB/s but with about a $20-$30 price difference. Amazon says the P31 is the newer version, and therefore more expensive, but is there actually any difference at all?

Not buying from Amazon, but just using them as an example.
