CF Card problem

Anyone get a card cannot be accessed error? First attempts at recording with a "high speed" 300x card and i can usually get some pics to save but not always, when it comes to video on playback get strange recorded noise and still image then that error message im really hoping its just a bad card, anyone experience this? btw what speed CF cards are required for HD video?

Anything faster than 66x should theoretically work. Canon officially recommends UDMA cards (which sounds like what you have). I and many others have used slower cards (like the 133x Kingston Elite Pro) without issue.

I'm using a Sandisk Ultra II from walmart. No problems.

I got 4 8GB Sandisk Extreme IIIs from Best Buy, all are fine. Gonna try the 32GB Kingston soon, if they work out that's gonna be an awsome deal!
