Century Optics and other Anamorphic options.

Anyone have any test footage with something like the Century Optics adapter? I am wondering how it compares to the Panasonic adapter. I got one of the Panasonic ones. It is decent, but has some limitations... It is very hard to focus close. The edges are a little soft depending on the stop. You get a little color fringing toward the edges as well. The flares are nice (sometimes perhaps even too much...)

Want to explore my options, especially for closer focusing like for tight headshots (chin to eyes type stuff).

I had an Optex which is a very similar design to the Century, it wasn't quite as good as the Panasonic but pretty close.

anybody heard of these ,..there seem to be a lot of these available and for much cheaper than pana/century/optex,.....they do have 'INFLIGHT' written on them though so they wud actually be--INFLIGHT Iscorama-Iscomorphot Anamorphic Projector lens 16/1.75x

The ones marked INFLIGHT were used to project 16mm movies on planes back in the old days when flying was still glamorous!
