My bro's team was in the baseball championships for Community College baseball the other weekend and I took along my camera to record the games. It was a double elimination tournament, so they had to beat the other team 2 times in the same day and couldn't lose once (since the other team was undefeated and we had one loss coming into the game). We won the first one 7-5 then the second 3-0 on an amazing pitching performance from their starter who pitched a complete game.

Filmed in 720p60 and the slow mo was done by conforming to 30p in cinema tools. I'm still using my velbon dv-7000 tripod but its really time to get a new one, it struggles to support the much bigger hmc150. Edited in FCP

Dude! Nice edit! I love the slow/regular motion edits. And the colors look really good on this cam. The more I see, the more I'm convinced I got a good camera.

Was there a way to get away from the net protection? Woulda been cool to get some shots without the net in whole thing.

Keep it up man!

Thanks man! Nah not really to be honest, the only place that you could go that didn't really have it would have been on top of the dugout, and there were already cameras for the TV broadcast there lol. And yeah, this camera amazes me more every time

This is a nice styled piece for sure. I just had the same problem in shooting a friends game.. no where to get the shots without the fence so ya just deal. Nice work.
