I just got my CB-Folding-S for my T2i. This is a fabulous piece of gear. Well worth the price. Mount your external mic on the flash shoe, and get a grip! I've owned a few pieces of plastic junk that do this same job, but this is in a class by itself. Folds up, slips away, yet is made of extremely high quality metal and excellent build quality.

Be sure to get the little add on anti twist bracket so the camera can't move.

If you shoot off a tripod you need this product. For an example of a hand held video with a very similar flash mount used for a mic mount, here's a quick video I did a month ago. No tripod used here.

(no monetary link to this product). Order it from B&H or the factory, or your local camera store if they have it in stock. Make sure to get the folding model. It stows wonderfully compact!

True enough, but without a tripod or stabilizer it's all going to be somewhat shaky. People think that they can produce shake free without a tripod, sorry, not likely. I guess the question is, shakey compared to what? You certainly did not shoot that slow mo scene of yours with a handheld camera? Looks like a tripod if I had to guess. And were you using a Pocket Dolly on those shots with the Soviet Vintage Lens? I've really liked my P.D.

And yes, it was an IS lens with IS turned off. I have mixed feelings about turning it on, as it generates noise, but do you normally keep yours turned on?
